Registration
1. Admission process in Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam begins in mid-January every year. Students desirous of admission in the school register their names on payment of registration fee. Registration entitles the student to appear for the School Entrance Test. Once the name is registered, the registration fee is not refundable, regardless of whether the student sits for the test or he/she is admitted or not.
(a) Parents must not register name of their ward if the ward is not expected to get 75% marks or equivalent grade in the previous class.
Age:
2. (a) Nursery: 4+ years as on 01st September of the year of admission.
Date of Birth:
3. The name and date of birth of the student will not be changed once entered into the register of the school. A student joining for the first time must produce satisfactory evidence of his/her date of birth such as on extract from the Birth and Death Register of the Municipality or Gram Panchayat.
Entrance Test:
4. Class X & XII: Only in exceptional circumstances of transferred cases, provided the student had scored 60% marks in Class IX and XI respectively and has good command of languages, both Hindi and English. He / She may be asked to appear in Hindi, English, Science / Commerce opted subjects, and must fulfill the conditions stipulated by the COUNCIL for transfer cases.
