Mr. Rajiv Singh Rautela

Dear Parents,
Greetings from OSN

First of all I beseech the blessings of H.D. Paramahamsa Swami Omkarananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj who is omnipotent and omnipresent. OSN is the brainchild of Gurudev and in his told righteous path the Institution has made great progress. I also beseech the blessing of H.H. Mahant Sri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati Ji who is a continuous source of inspiration for all of us and under his leadership and foresightedness the Institution is soaring to new heights.

It is my profound privilege and honour to join this prestigious Institution in the capacity of the Principal. I hail from the hills of Uttarakhand, Dehradun (Mussoorie). Being in the field of education for the last 33 years and in the capacity of Principal since 1997 (23 years) in different reputed Schools of India. I am impressed by the vision and mission of the School Management, which has brought me here to serve you.

Our aim at OSN is to impart Man-making Education and to achieve it, we impart integrated education to children, drawing the best from the Indian culture and tradition and inducing the modern education together, a humane oriented vision and a global outlook . As is the saying in Indian Scriptures : ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ ‘The world is one family’. We personify the persona of a child on progressive lines with comprehensive mental outlook, self confidence based on sound character and good conduct to face the future challenges. The School endeavors to seek excellence in the sacred field of learning and provides ultra modern education with effective emphasis on internal moral values enshrined in our rich tradition and culture.

Children are the most precious possession of the nation and to bring them up in an environment which helps them grow physically, intellectually and spiritually is the greatest service to the society.

Thus the vision of the School is to impart quality education coupled with latest technological advancement and imbibing human values, ethos and ‘Sanskaras’ in the students with a spiritual blend and a global reach. The learning process and values inherited in the School by the students are further executed by them in the society for the service of humanity . In a nutshell, we are aiming at sculpturing a student to be a good citizen first and the rest is followed automatically. To guide young minds in the right direction and righteous path is what we strive for in OSN.

As you are aware in the last 37 years the School has carved a niche for itself and is among the leading ICSE Schools in the vicinity and the State.

In School emphasis is given in imparting holistic development to the student and for that equal attention is paid to the three pillars on which the School rests i.e Academics, Co-curricular Activities and Sports. The students have always proved their mettle and given excellent results.
The School is and will always remain proud of its alumni Ms. Anjali Rawat, batch 2010 who has won a scholarship and is at present pursuing a course of Bachelor of Civil Law at Oxford University. All our alumni are well settled and pursuing their jobs in different fields like Medical Engineering, Armed Forces, Fashion Industry, Civil Service and many of our former students are settled abroad and doing well.

The board results of last five years have been excellent. This year in ISC the highest percentage was 97.25 of Ms. Anushka Khanduri (Humanities) and she is also the City Topper, and 14 Students scored above 90 %. In ICSE Ms. Khyati Kakkar scored 97.4 and 24 Students scored above 90%.
In sports also our School has excelled and students through their sheer grit and determination have made it to the National Level in Basket ball and Volley ball, like Ms. Shruti Panwar, Mr. Rahul Gairola, Mr. Ashish Bahugana to name just a few.

The students have not lagged behind in Co-Curricular activities and have come back with prizes from National and International platforms, like from CMS Lucknow.

We seek your Cooperation in grooming the students and making them ready to face the world.

With regard
