Omkarananda School Muni ki Reti celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by a series of colourful cultural programmes presented by the students. The occasion was made more special by the presence of Chief Guest, members of school Management Mr. Munish Agnihotri, Secretary and Mr. Pradeep Vaid, Treasurer , who inaugurated the school’s Annual Magazine “PRAYATNASHEEL”. The magazine showcased the achievements, creativity, and talents of our students. The Principal of school Mr. Dhirendra Joshi also honoured and rewarded the academic toppers for their outstanding performance in ISC and ICSE Examinations 2025-26. Their achievements were appreciated and applauded by everyone, inspiring other students to work hard and excel in their studies.
The students presented various cultural programmes, including patriotic songs, dances, speeches, and other performances. A play was also presented by the students highlighting the sacrifices and contributions of great freedom fighters such as Bhagat Singh, Rani Lakshmibai, and Sarojini Naidu. The powerful performance beautifully portrayed their courage, patriotism, and dedication to the nation, inspiring everyone in the audience. Their confidence and enthusiasm made the celebration lively and memorable.
At the end of the programme, Principal sir delivered the vote of thanks and all the teachers, staff and supporting staff were privileged to witness this memorable programme. After successful program sweets were distributed to all, marking the joyous occasion of Independence Day. The celebration concluded on a happy and patriotic note, leaving everyone with a deep sense of pride in our nation.
